1. Definition
HBA refers to HBA Salon Equipment Pty Ltd (ABN 15 660 374 603).

2. General
It is assumed that customers have prior knowledge of and/or experience in the proper use of purchases. Misuse of products may result in voiding the warranty. Purchase of items assumes acceptance of all terms & conditions. Discrepancies in orders must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Where plumbing is required, all installation or connection costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Prices and our return/exchange policies are subject to change without further notice.

3. Pricing
All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD). GST and other taxes where applicable are applied at checkout.

4. Payment Method
HBA accepts cash, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), EFTPOS, and credit cards including Visa and MasterCard. Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.

5. Shipping and Handling
All items are shipped by commercial freight carriers within Australia to ground floor only. Express delivery options (same-day, overnight, and 2nd-day delivery) are available for additional charges, subject to availability.

Items in stock are generally shipped out within 48 hours of receiving full payment, however times may vary depending on the order volume.

Back-ordered items may take up to 8–10 weeks for delivery.

HBA uses a third-party freight provider (Direct Freight Express). Where freight is arranged by HBA, we are not liable for any delays or damages caused in transit.

Transit insurance may be purchased to cover the cost of damaged goods.

Failure to receive goods on the specified delivery date will incur a redelivery fee.

Any claim for transit damage must be reported within 6 hours of receipt, with photographic evidence.

6. Catalogue/Website Conditions
All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed are regular retail prices and do not include insurance, setup, or delivery charges that may apply. HBA has made every effort to be accurate, complete, and reliable in product listings; however, actual items may vary in appearance due to manufacturing tolerances, lighting, and screen resolution. Images are for reference only.

7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled any time before dispatch. If cancelled prior to dispatch, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled after dispatch, a 20% restocking fee applies and return freight is at the customer’s expense. Deposits paid to reserve stock are non-refundable.

8. Refund Policy
Products may be returned within 30 days of purchase provided they are unused, in brand new condition, and in original packaging. A 20% restocking fee and original delivery costs will be deducted. Return freight is at the customer’s expense. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of returned goods and to the original form of payment.

No refunds, exchanges, or returns apply to clearance, ex-display, sale, or custom-made items.

9. Defective Merchandise
If a product is found to be defective, HBA may at its discretion offer an exchange or store credit, subject to:

The item being returned within 7 days of receipt.

The item being in its original packaging with all accessories.

The defect being confirmed by HBA inspection.

The customer is responsible for all return freight costs.

10. Product Warranty
10.1 Australian Consumer Law Statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

10.2 Warranty Coverage by Category
Vinyl Upholstery: 2 years – covers defects in material and workmanship. Excludes cuts, punctures, chemical spills, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Hydraulic Pump: 2 years (parts only) – covers defects in the hydraulic mechanism. Labour/service not included.

Electrics (motors, controls, wiring): 2 years (parts only) – excludes damage from power surges, misuse, or liquid exposure.

Structural Frame: 5 years – covers internal metal frame defects. Excludes corrosion from environment, cosmetic issues, or modifications.

These warranty periods apply to: Beauty Beds, Tattoo Beds, Medical Beds, Salon Chairs, Barber Chairs.

Other Products: 12 months warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

10.3 Warranty Conditions and Exclusions
All salon furniture and equipment is designed to be owned and operated only by qualified, trained professionals. Use outside this scope may void the warranty.

HBA does not warrant colour variation in wood, fabric, or laminated materials. Chrome finishes, powder-coated finishes, fabric, and laminates are not warranted against wear, fading, staining, soiling, crushing, peeling, chipping, or any other condition caused by user environment or care practices.

The limited warranty does not cover damage caused in transit (insurance is available separately).

Use of replacement parts not supplied or authorised by HBA may affect equipment performance and will void all warranties.

Warranty is parts only – HBA does not offer on-site repairs.

At its discretion, HBA may service faulty products if returned to an authorised repair centre. Shipping charges to and from repair centres are the customer’s responsibility.

All repaired items are returned via commercial freight carrier. HBA is not responsible for shipping charges, consequential damages in transit, or service delays.

10.4 Warranty Claims
To make a claim, customers must provide proof of purchase, photos/videos of the defect, and a description of the fault. HBA will at its discretion repair, replace, or supply parts.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with HBA products or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, and must be commenced and heard in that jurisdiction.
