Definition

HBA refers to HBA Salon Equipment Pty Ltd (ABN 15 660 374 603).

General

It is assumed that customers have prior knowledge of and/or experience in the proper use of purchases. Purchase of items assumes acceptance of all terms & conditions. Discrepancies in orders need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Where plumbing is required then all installation or connection costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Prices and our return, exchange policies are subjected to change without further notice.

Pricing

All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and GST and othertaxes where applicable are applied at the cart.

Payment Method

HBA accepts cash, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), EFTPOS, and credit cards including Visa and MasterCard. Orders will not be dispatched until the full payment has been received.

Shipping and Handling

All items are shipped by commercial freight carriers within Australia to ground floor. Express delivery options including same-day, overnight and 2nd day delivery are available for additional charges subject to availability. Items in stock are generally shipped out within 48 hours from the date full payment has been received; however, times may vary depending on the volume of the order. Back ordered items may take up 8-10 weeks for delivery. HBA uses a third party to handle all of our freight (Direct Freight Express), if you decide to purchase freight through HBA we will arrange this for you though as it is a third party we are not in control and therefore liable for any delays or damages caused. Transit insurance can be purchased to cover the cost of goods of damaged products and must be paid in full prior to dispatch of goods. Failure to receive goods on the specified delivery date will incur re-delivery fee before goods are released. Any claim of damage in transit must be reported within 6 hours of receipt of goods along with photographic evidence of arrival condition.

All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed are regular retail prices and do not include any insurance, setup, or delivery charge that may apply. HBA has made every attempt to be as accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free as possible with all listed items, actual items may vary in appearance from pictures shown in the catalogue/website due to lighting and screen quality of the device you are using. All pictures are for reference only and may not reflect the exact specifications of the actual product.

Can I Cancel My Order?

We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your order. You are welcome to do so at any time before your item is dispatched or sent to our delivery partners. If you decide to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will promptly process a full refund for you. If an order has been dispatched a 20% restocking fee will apply. Once we receive the returned item(s), we will process a refund for you, less the 20% restocking fee. Please note that the cost of return delivery will also be at your expense. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order after it has been dispatched.
Deposits paid to reserve stock are non-refundable.

Refund Policy

Our warranty policy assures you of our confidence in the quality of our product. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days from the date of purchase, provided that it is in brand new condition and still in its original packaging.

We will process a full refund, less a 20% restocking fee and the original delivery costs. Please note that the cost of return shipping will be at your expense. We regret that we cannot accept returns, provide refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on items that have been used, altered, or not returned in their original packaging, including special-order or custom-made items. If you wish to initiate a return, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your product(s) and we will be glad to assist you. The returned items must include all hardware, fixtures, and accessories, and must not have been used or altered in any way. Refunds will be processed within up to 14 days from the date of goods returned strictly to the original form of payment

There are no exchanges, returns or refunds for ex-display, clearance or sale items and the goods which have been ordered and manufactured per customer specifications.

Defective Merchandise

If a purchased item is found to be inwardly defective, exchange or store credit may be granted and is subject to the final approval of HBA. Unrelated dissatisfaction or change of mind with a chosen product does not constitute as being sufficient reason for the product return or grounds of being defective. HBA may allow for and exchange or store credit to be issued for defective merchandise subject to all of the following conditions:

  • that the item is returned within 7 days from the date of receipt
  • that the item is returned in its original packaging with all accessories and paperwork
  • the product is found to have a manufacturer’s defect upon investigation by HBA

HBA customer is responsible for any and all fees associated with returning any defective item(s).

Product Warranty

All salon furniture carried by HBA comes with warranty and the length is details on each product. All salon furniture and equipment is designed to be owned and operated only by qualified, trained professionals only, and other means of use may result in void of warranty. HBA does not warranty color variation over wood, fabric, or laminated materials. Chrome finishes, powder coated finishes, fabric, and laminated materials are not warranted against wear, fading, staining, soiling, crushing, peeling, chipping, or any affliction influenced by the user created environment or the care to which the item is tended to during use. The limited warranty does not cover any damage caused in transit, and such additional warranting remains at our discretion. Use of replacement parts provided by other manufacturers or not authorised by HBA, may affect equipment performance and voids all product warranties. HBA does not offer a repair service, all warranty is parts only. HBA may at it’s discretion offer to service your faulty product on the condition it is brought back to their repair centers. The warranty does not cover shipping charges to or from our repair centers. All repaired items will be returned to the customer via a commercial freight carrier. HBA is not responsible for any shipping charges, consequential damages resulting in transit and equipment handling or service delays.
